At WorldleCity Quizzes, we believe self-exploration and learning should be fun, not a data-mining expedition. We have designed this site to be as low-footprint as possible so you can focus on the quizzes, not your settings.
1. No accounts, no profiles, no hassle
We do not want your email address, your phone number, or your mother’s maiden name. You can take every quiz on this site without ever creating an account or signing in. We do not build user profiles, and we do not track who you are as an individual.
2. What we do see
Even though we do not know your name, our website needs to collect a tiny bit of technical information to function properly. This includes:
- Device info: Basic details like your browser type (Chrome, Safari, etc.) and the kind of device you are using, so the quiz looks good on your screen.
- Log data: Like almost every website, our servers automatically log your IP address. We use this to prevent spam and keep the site secure.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and local storage for these reasons:
- Quiz progress: So the site remembers your score while you are in the middle of a quiz.
- WorldleCity Daily progress: When you play the daily puzzle, your browser remembers your current win streak, longest streak, and a short history of recent days’ results so you can see them on your next visit. This data lives only in your browser’s local storage and is never sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data resets it.
- Analytics: We use tools like Google Analytics to see which quizzes are hits and which ones are misses. This helps us make more of the stuff our visitors actually enjoy. The data is aggregated and anonymous.
4. Sharing with friends
Our results are meant to be shared. When you use a Share button to post your results on social media, those platforms (like X, Facebook, or WhatsApp) will handle that data according to their own privacy policies. We do not receive any information from your social media accounts.
5. Third-party links
Our quizzes might occasionally link to other interesting corners of the internet. Once you leave WorldleCity Quizzes, the privacy rules of that new site apply.
6. Children’s privacy
WorldleCity Quizzes is designed for a general audience. Because we do not collect names or emails, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
7. Changes to this policy
If we ever decide to add a new feature that changes how we handle data, we will update this page. But our core mission of keeping things lightweight will not change.
