About this quiz

A red flag is behaviour that indicates that a person may not be right for you to form a relationship. Many times one looks for red flags in others. However, they are blind to one’s own red flags. If you’ve ever wondered what your red flags actually are, what cues you give off that alarms your future partner, this quiz is built to find it. Across 20 questions about texting habits, conflict instincts, overthinking, follow-through, and how you behave when you feel ignored or misunderstood, you’ll get mapped onto one of six honest archetypes. It’s playful, but the answers point at real behavioral patterns instead of flattering everyone with a “you’re amazing” result.

What the different results mean

Each result names a distinct pattern. Chaos Gremlin is impulsive, reactive energy: fun in flashes, hard to plan around; Avoidant Vibes dodges discomfort and disappears instead of dealing; Overthinker Spiral notices everything and then keeps re-noticing it for three more hours; Mixed Signals Energy usually means well but sends vibes without subtitles; Self-Aware but Human has the same human habits as everyone else but catches them most of the time; Basically a Green Flag is grounded, communicative, and refreshingly low-drama. The quiz is intentionally willing to land you at Chaos or Avoidant, instead of forcing every reader into the green-flag bucket.

How the questions work

The quiz uses a scoring mechanism with score-range mapping. Each option carries a numeric value where higher score means healthier behavior. Calm communication, ownership, steady follow-through, and self-awareness earn the most points. Spiraling, ghosting, escalating, and bottling things up earn the fewest. “How much do you overthink” rewards the low end of the scale because constant overthinking is the trait being measured. Multi-select questions let several patterns coexist, since most people have a healthy default and a less-healthy backup mode. Your total lands in one of six bands, so two people with similar instincts but different intensities can split between adjacent results depending on which habits dominate.
